Giant Strides OT is a private, mobile occupational therapy service for children. I have extensive experience working with children with cerebral palsy, acquired brain injury and spinal cord injury.

My services include:

  • Goal-directed training

  • Bi-manual upper limb therapy

  • Fine motor and handwriting skills

  • Self-care assessments

  • Equipment prescription

I work with children and their families to take giant strides towards achieving their goals. I provide goal-directed therapy and pride myself on using evidence-based approaches to enhance treatment outcomes. Your child and your family are at the core of what I do and my treatment plans reflect this.

Why am I the right clinician for your needs?

First of all, I have a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from La Trobe University and am an AHPRA registered clinician.  As a member of Occupational Therapy Australia, you can be assured that I am delivering a high quality of service, backed by evidence and experience.

Secondly, I come to you! I know how hard it can be to manage multiple appointments, especially when you have to bundle your family into the car. Plus, it can be really helpful to see your child in an environment that is familiar and meaningful to them.

I also offer an assessment and intervention plan that is holistic, individualized and based on your goals. With 10 years clinical experience, the use of evidence-based approaches and an absolute love for what I do, I will provide an engaging environment for your child to thrive.

What are the steps you need to take to engage my services?

  • An initial assessment will be completed at your home, or your child's school or childcare, where a treatment plan will be determined based on your child and family goals, as well as outcomes of the OT assessment.

  • Subsequent therapy sessions will be scheduled and delivered as required.
